NOW, in 2008 SEW-EURODRIVE India celebrates 11 successful years Driving Indian Industry!
SEW-EURODRIVE INDIA was set up as a Private Limited Company in 1997 with a Sales Office in Delhi. The first small plant assembling
geared motors was set up in Vadodara, Gujarat and started operation in the year 2000 with 9 employees and a sales presence
in 5 cities.
Since those humble beginnings, an unswerving commitment to customer satisfaction in power transmission, drive automation and
motion control has lead to strong growth in our sales and reach.
We now have two modern assembly plants in Vadodara and Chennai with a combined area of 16,000 square meters, assembling geared
motors, frequency inverters and industrial gearboxes. We have a wide network of sales and service offices in 17 cities across
India.
To integrate our processes and serve our customers even better we have adopted MySAP ERP as our enterprise resource system
countrywide from early 2008.
SEW operations in India now employ 180 qualified and committed people who we acknowledge to be the wellspring of our success.
